Data collection
We are very grateful for the ongoing commitment and support of the health professionals who have provided UKTIS with outcome details of exposed pregnancies.
UKTIS attempts to follow up all enquiries made to the service to collect maternal and fetal outcome data following reported exposures. This information contributes to future patient risk assessments and supports surveillance to determine the safety of medications and chemicals in pregnancy.
UKTIS is a non-profit organisation and does not provide payment for completion of pregnancy follow up forms and we ask that these are completed on a voluntary basis. The only exception to this is where service support costs are negotiated for NIHR-portfolio adopted research studies.
We appreciate the workload involved in completing our forms and are grateful for the ongoing commitment enquirers have shown over the years to providing this information.
