In 2014/15 seven out of the top 10 most frequent enquiries to the service were regarding antidepressant and antipsychotic medications with the most frequent being the SSRIs – sertraline and citalopram. The prevalence of antidepressant related enquiries reflects both their high level of use and ongoing publicity concerning their safety during pregnancy.

96% of users agreed or strongly agreed that they were highly satisfied with the service they received from UKTIS.

GPs (31%) and hospital pharmacists (31%) were still our most frequent callers, followed by consultants (17%), community pharmacists (7%), nurses (2%) and midwives (2%).
