Welcome reception (Thursday 6th September)
The welcome reception of the 3rd Joint International Meeting of ENTIS and OTIS will be held on the evening of Thursday 6th September at the Great North Museum: Hancock (https://greatnorthmuseum.org.uk/).
The Great North Museum: Hancock is a natural history museum built in 1884 to house the growing collections of the Natural History Society of Northumbria.
Conference dinner (Friday 7th September)
The conference dinner will be held on the evening of Friday 7th September. You will be transported by coach, through the Northumberland countryside, to dine at Alnwick Castle, best known as Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry in the Harry Potter films, and featured as a location in Downton Abbey. Alnwick Castle is the second largest inhabited castle in England and is the seat of the Duke of Northumberland’s family.
Drinks will be served on the Castle Courtyard within the medieval walls, followed by dinner in the Guest Hall, with its beautifully restored beamed roof and stone archways.
Places are limited and will be assigned on a ‘first come, first served’ basis.
