About Newcastle

The Rough Guide to 2018 has announced the UK city of Newcastle as the number one place to visit this year due to the friendly locals, lively nightlife, flourishing restaurant scene, fantastic museums and architectural feats (click here for more information). In addition, Newcastle and Gateshead will host the biggest event in England this year, the Great Exhibition of the North. This will be a two month exhibition celebrating art, culture and design running from 22nd June to 9th September.
